It doesn’t matter how talented a dentist is at the end of the day. This is because they can only provide the best care possible when they have a talented and supportive team to help them along the way. Our team members always work hard to ensure your loved ones experience a positive dental visit. As you walk into our office, you’ll be greeted with a big smile and asked how your needs can be met. Take a look at the biographies below to learn more about our team members and their stories better!
Lisa has been a part of the dental field for 21 years, 8 of which have been spent here at Healthy Smiles, and she says she absolutely LOVES our patients and staff, which she considers to be extended family. When not at work, she likes to just relax at home and spend time with her son Cole and boyfriend Dave.
Maycee has spent her entire dental career here at Healthy Smiles Dental Care, and she says it’s always fulfilling to see our patients’ smiles transform before her eyes. In addition to being our receptionist, she is also X-ray and CPR certified. When she isn’t at the office, you’ll almost always find her spending time outdoors, most likely hiking, camping, or doing anything else that allows her to soak up nature!
Julie joined our practice in 2019 and has over 8 years of dental experience. She’ll likely be one of the first friendly faces you encounter when you come to visit us, and you can always count on her to check you in quickly and answer your questions! She’s originally from Ann Arbor and primarily likes to spend her weekends hanging out with friends and family.
If you have questions about dental insurance, Jenni is definitely the person to talk to. With nearly 30 years of experience, she’s able to help patients easily understand their benefits as well as maximize them at each appointment. Originally from Brooklyn, MI, she has one grown son and two step-daughters that she absolutely adores. Her husband is actually the owner and main chef at Barney’s BBQ in Grass Lake, so you can trust that the family always enjoys great meals at home!
Rosie has worked in the dental field for 7 years so far, and she still feels overjoyed when she sees a patient’s oral health improve as the direct result of her care. After obtaining her hygiene training, she earned additional certifications in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide administration, dental X-rays, and CPR. She is married with a young son and is expecting a baby daughter very soon. Her hobbies involve doing pretty much anything outdoors, from boating to swimming to camping and beyond. She and the family also love to just sit and relax with their old friendly dog, Chip.
Megan has been with our team since 2017 and has over 5 years of dental experience. She loves that she gets to meet such a wide variety of people through our practice and build relationships that extend beyond helping someone with their oral health. She is a graduate of Ferris State University and also has her local anesthesia certification. She considers herself to be a shoe connoisseur, but her greatest joy is being an aunt of 3 amazing nephews.
Jessica brings 23 years of experience to our team, and for her, choosing the best part of her job is simple—her co-workers! She says they feel like a second family and make her eager to come to the practice every day. On top of being a certified dental assistant, she also has certifications in dental X-rays, Invisalign, CPR, and OSHA guidelines. Her favorite thing to do away from the office is hang out with her two teenage boys and enjoy the outdoors, whether it involves camping, hiking, biking, or kayaking.
Sara has 26 years of dentistry experience, and she’s excited to come to work every day because she loves being a part of such an excellent team. She attended Cuyamaca Community College in San Diego and also has certifications in dental X-rays, CPR, and SCUBA diving (which she doesn’t really need to use at the office!) She is the mother of 3 energetic boys and likes to stay active by running, working out, and biking.
